The Huntsman

I decided to take the good advice of all my friends who were so kind as to offer suggestions about what needed to be done to the sketch of the Thoroughbred stallion last night and practice a little ink work on this boy. I must say that I'm rather satisfied with the outcome, especially seeing as I made myself really push my artistic envelope as far as detail and precision are concerned. One step closer to achieving my truest goal: the likes of *rewston, *moodymand, and *south-wind!

Somewhere in the middle of the inking process, I realized that I had nothing to write on the halter's name plate. That didn't really bother me for the longest time, but, near the end, I just couldn't stand staring at the blank space anymore... thus the name "Hunter." I've become so affectionate over this boy that I went so far as to give him a full "registered name" -- The Huntsman. I think it fits, don't you?
